Our team is seeking enthusiastic, creative and self motivated candidates to write proposals for new product or process development.
Due to unprecedented levels of success and growing customer demand, we are seeking an experienced funding professional with an exceptional track record of securing grant funding.
Iconiq is a dynamic innovation consultancy dedicated to securing grant funding for our clients. The team here has secured over €180 million in the last 5 years, with substantial funding in the areas of coatings, printed electronics, composites, materials science, packaging and renewable energies.
The Role: Our team is seeking enthusiastic, creative and self motivated candidates to write proposals for new product or process development. This role requires someone who can understand complex technical and market information quickly, plan work to meet deadlines as well as work closely with clients, research providers, colleagues and project partners.
The Person: You will be educated to Degree level (or equivalent experience) in a science or business-related subject and preferably hold a post graduate degree (PhD, MSc, MBA) in a technical or business related subject. Along with an excellent technical and/or academic background, you will have experience or have a keen interest in commercial factors relating to new product development.
Ideally, you will have experience of preparing and writing Innovate UK and European Commission funding proposals to support our market leading success rates.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- assisting with knowledge transfer workshops to define innovative concepts and solutions for our clients
- carrying out due diligence/techno-economic feasibility studies
- authoring complex, detailed and well-structured new product development proposals
- identifying and building relationships with experts and research organisations to create high quality proposals
- liaising with suitable industrial, academic and research partners to gather information for submission of research proposals
- ensuring proposals are prepared, evaluated and submitted to the required standard and deadlines.
